CHOCOLATE APPLE LOAF

Ingredients
150 grams grated apple
2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
2 tablespoons honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
½ teaspoon cinnamon
1 egg
5 tablespoons plain flour
1 teaspoon baking powder


Preparation
Peel and grate a medium sized apple to get 150 grams of grated apple. Add the lemon juice, vanilla and cinnamon, and combine well. Pour in the honey, mix well with a wooden spoon; and the egg and mix again. Sift the flour with the cocoa and baking powder, add it to the apple batter, mix well and let it stand for about 5 minutes. After that, mix again and pour it into a baking tin (12x23 cm; 9x5 inches) lined with baking paper and bake in a preheated oven, at 180˚C (350˚F), for 15-18 minutes. Serve warm with tea.
